Jake is a freelance commercial and editorial photographer with a strong photojournalism background. He is based in Yakima, Washington.
Jake holds a B.A. from Western Washington University in visual journalism with a minor in creative writing. The valleys of Spokane, WA, and the rocky shores of the Oregon coast are where his roots are, but he plans on never ceasing to grow in new places.
His work has been published or recognized by organizations including but not limited to: The Associated Press, The Washington Post, Thomson-Reuters, Microsoft, The Washington Times, The Oregonian, seattlepi.com, The Yakima Herald-Republic, Yakima Valley Hops, National Press Photographer's Association.
